WOODLANDS COMMUNITY GARDEN
are recruiting for a SESSIONAL COMMUNITY GARDENER
for 15 days work from March 2012
The gardener will
* provide support, advice and practical help to our group of 45 raised bedders
* help us in facilitating additional communal volunteer work sessions in the garden
* assist us by carrying out landscaping, maintenance and repairs to communal garden areas
* work collectively alongside existing project staff and volunteers
The suitable candidate should
* have a horticultural background
* be committed to organic growing
* have experience of working with volunteers in a community setting
* have experience of delivering training
* be able to work at weekends
Terms and conditions
* hourly rate of pay £14 per hour
* working pattern to be negotiated, but will involve weekend working
* post offered on a self-employed freelance basis
